Rains and good weather have made the Antequera Golf course look resplendent this year. The 50 hectares where the facilities are spread show a beautiful and healthy green color in the vegetation, and although it is taken care of with all the pampering throughout the year, this time it has received an extra help for a soft summer.

Native fauna and flora that coexist between the golf course and its natural environment have become a real pleasure for the players and the workers that run their tracks. The field, which is located in a privileged place, near to Torcal de Antequera Natural Park, has literally lengthened its spring. The aromatic plants and the freshness of the grass impregnate  18 holes with their pleasant smell. Meanwhile, the hares and the partridges run around with their young among the oaks, olive trees and hawthorns, and the wild ducks are refreshed by one of the 16 lakes that surround the field.

Because of the spectacular nature of the field, the management of Grupo Antequera Golf decided to show it to the Antequera and organized on June 23 a successful party, Noche de San Juan in Luna Green, next to the lake of one of the most beautiful holes in the field. The light of the stars and of the fires illuminated one of the most precious and unknown pictures of Antequera Golf, the one of the field at night.

Designed by the Ryder Cup player, José María Cañizares, Antequera Golf is a unique and different course. This ecological field tests the precision and experience skills of the players, allowing professional or experienced players to enjoy that difficulty necessary for sports practice.

But fans or neophytes also have their place in Antequera Golf. In addition to the cozy Club House, a meeting and resting place for golfers, the course offers different services, such as the Practice Area, Golf Lessons, play equipment and the camp shop, accommodation. Not to mention one of its best kept secrets, the magnificent cuisine of the Campo de Golf Restaurant. All to facilitate a few days of fun, sport and nature.
